Polymer Design Acquires Montec Plastics
ROCKLAND, MA (July 31, 2000) - Polymer Design Corporation has acquired
Monson, Massachusetts-based Montec Plastics, a division of Menasha Corporation.
Menasha provides products and services to a wide range of major markets.
Montec Plastics offers expertise in precision molding engineering grade
resins for many complex applications. Terms of the transaction were not
announced. Montec has twenty-six state-of-the-art microprocessor controlled
presses ranging in size from 55 to 550 tons and offers Class 100,000 clean
environment molding facilities ideally suited for any contamination critical
medical/biotech application. Engineering, project management, and uncompromising
customer service are all areas of excellence within the company.
Polymer Design, based in Rockland, Massachusetts, specializes in rapidly
manufacturing complex, high performance plastic parts. The company is
recognized as the nation's leader in liquid resin casting, but it often
utilizes additional processing technologies to meet the volume and cost
demands of its customers.
