Mr. Bergonia has over 20 years of business development and financial experience with small and medium-sized growth companies and in merger and acquisition transactions. He was one of the founders of North American in 1989. Previously, he was Vice President-Corporate Finance at The Chicago Corporation, a regional investment banking firm that specialized in initial public offerings, private financings and merger and acquisition transactions for small to medium-sized Midwestern companies. Prior to this, Mr. Bergonia held various positions at Heizer Corporation, including Vice President-Administration, Legal Counsel and Secretary. Previously, Mr. Bergonia was an attorney with Winston & Strawn, specializing in Federal tax law. He has been or is a Director of a number of emerging companies, both public and private. Mr. Bergonia has a J.D. from Harvard University and a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. He also is a certified public accountant.
